Growth and Resilience

2025 was a year of tremendous growth and resilience for All Community Connect CIC, reaffirming our commitment to empowering communities and fostering inclusivity. Read more in our Impact Report.

What we do

Our primary mission is to provide welcoming spaces where people can pick up food, drinks and sanitary products, have a hot cuppa and a chat, and maybe even depart with a smile.

All Community Connect CIC encourages healthy eating and cooking from scratch, distributing food parcels consisting of:

  • Breakfast items such as cereal, milk and bread.
  • Tinned goods such as baked beans and tomatoes.
  • Baking supplies including flour and oil.
  • Treat items like crisps and soft drinks.
  • We also support adults with digital literacy on subjects such as basic computer skills and staying safe online.

Partners

With the help of our partners, we try to help ease the cost-of-living crisis for those who need it most.

Morrisons (Hunslet)

Morrisons deliver food to us twice each month, which we then distribute via our own network in Leeds.

Warm Spaces Leeds

We are registered as a Warm Welcome Space in Leeds. Take a look at www.warmwelcome.uk.

About our founder - Innocent Igiehon

Innocent founded All Community Connect CIC in 2021.

During the pandemic, Innocent was working on a food aid initiative with his church. As the financial situation grew dire for many, Innocent spoke to a manager at Tesco and asked if there was a way he would be allowed to distribute food that was close or upon use-by date.

Due to demand, Innocent formed a dedicated CIC, focused on helping those in food poverty and/or period poverty.

Away from All Community Connect, Innocent is a key member of the Equality Team at USDAW (Union of Shop, Distributive and Allied Workers). He has served two terms of three years and is now fully-committed to his third term of another three years. One of his life goals is to help people get a share of what is available. He is a member of the standing order committee and has been a regional councillor for 3 years. His principled stance on equality is applied to his work at All Community Connect CIC.
